THE VISION DRIVES YOU
“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16) Apostle Paul was a man of vision, and one thing stood him out: He was resolved to giving himself completely to the heavenly vision (Acts 26:18-19). It’s easy to tell the difference between a man of vision and the one without vision. Vision comes with a burden–a burden of fulfillment; there’s no rest until it’s fulfilled. Vision is what propels you as a Christian; it compels you to do the things you do. Vision compels you to pray and study the Word. Vision stirs you for soul-winning, and inspires you to evangelize your world for the kingdom, depopulating the kingdom of darkness and increasing the kingdom of God. Paul in the scripture above, declared, “…necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16). He was driven by vision! To be a successful minister of the Gospel, you must have clarity of vision. There’s no middle ground. The vision must be clearly stated in your heart, and in your mind, until your whole life is a manifestation of it. Then it’ll propel you, and push you to action. And you’d find that you can carry out God's work with ease, fervency and excitement. Glory to His name.
